wow, great work SAI sounds interesting~ i should check it out sometime

anyhow, i like how you made his arms and cloak look like they were moving, as it'd probably look too stiff otherwise. you did motion very well in this picture i also like the colours and how you used all black, white, and red, except for his eyes.

my only critique for this is part of his expression. i love his smile; you captured his manic nature and it was a good idea to get rid of the scope for the sake of expression. but, i would expect from deidara a more malicious-looking espression, like maybe with his eyes a bit narrower and his eyebrows furrowed, like he's about to bomb something i dunno, that's just what i get from that, lawl

I love SAI, I highly recommend it. It's really great, honestly...especially for lineart. Too bad mine will only last for a bit..

Thanks for the critique on the expression, I went back and edited the picture a bit more. Hopefully it's better heh.

Yeah, I know that I generally have pretty still pictures so I wanted a more action-y one. Perhaps one day in the far future I can draw real battle scenes. That'd be siiiicckkk.

i'll have to do a trial of SAI sometime as soon as i get off my acrylic kick... i've got four painting ideas and i am too busy to do them quickly

it does look better it's nice to see a picture of deidara like the maniac he is. girly deidara pictures can be amusing and pretty good, but maniac deidara is more fun
