Dedicated to =Kaze-Hime, who is a huge inspiration.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Kaze no Hime" is "Princess of Wind" or "Wind Princess" in Japanese. I can write Chinese, and since the character for "Wind" is the same in both languages, I added the character in the wind bubble.
This was the traditional mentioned in my journal, I cleaned it up today on the computer.
I ought to do a) a pencil portrait of someone and b) a colored traditional of anything. I miss traditional sometimes.
Time: Roughly 6-7 hours + computer clean-up
Tools: - Mechanical Pencil 0.5+0.7 - Normal printer paper - HP scanner - GIMP to edit
I tried a new drawing style (the face and hair, I liked how they turned out ) and new shading style too. Not as much hatching, but more "draw outline of shadow, then fill it in"
Enjoy, hopefully I can finish my other stuff faster.
Critique if you want to, I just can't go back and change anything drastically since it's traditional, but I will keep any critiques in mind for future pictures.
This is bar far one of my favorites, I mean I know I say that a lot, but its really hard to choose just one favorite! I love the style, the way her body is positioned and way the wind is dancing around her body. Its truly beautiful! ♥♥♥ I envy your anatomy skills.
I quite like this. There seems so much to this and the drawing and details are really good. she has a nice expression, which looks attractive. Lots going in the background.
I love seeing traditional manga/anime drawings simply because you don't see enough of those anymore. I really like the anatomy on this, especially on the hands and the structure of the face. The lineart is so soft and I really love the wrinkles in her clothing. :3
This looks lovely, I really like the clothing folds and all the motion in this<3 The anatomy came out great, too, and I love the style of face you drew here~ This one is real awesome
this is just beautiful, seriously i always love your traditional works, and this one is probably one of my favorites~ her pose is great, and the details in, well... everything, are amazing! and i like the new methods in shading you used as well, and also the new drawing style~ and as for critique, i honestly wouldn't be able to think of much that this picture could need anyway all i can say is that a couple of the things in the background are a bit sketchy, but that is barely noticeable.
anyhow, definite favorite
