I didn't make semis. I knew that I wasn't because I ran out of time. It was just my luck that it was Finals week for me, so I had to spend time on studying instead of doing the Wacom entry.

I also know that I will not get the Community Choice award-- obviously only a popular artist will get it. SO I don't really care about breaking rules now and "changing my entry".

Besides, regardless I was going to finish this picture. I really enjoyed working on it and I'm proud of it.

Anyways, I put that link to the Original so that I'm at least not being misleading. Thanks for looking again!

What nourishes me, destroys me.

This is the relationship between Creation and Destruction, Life and Death, the cycle of Good and Evil. Neither can exist without the other.

Even when Creation seems to be losing, Destruction holds her lovingly because without her, he'd have nothing to destroy. What destroys are Pride, Envy, Wrath, Sloth Greed, Gluttony, and Lust. All are embedded in the wings of the Destructor, except for Pride, who distorts the all-seeing eye of Justice in Libra, the fair scales. The wings of the Destructor are made from Clock parts, because the ultimate Destructor is Time. Everything in existence always withers away.

But Creation takes advantage of Time, and with it she makes creations to replace the dying. She tempers the sins with Time; Time heals all. She smiles at Destruction, because she knows without her, he can't survive.

Whew I worked so hard at this! I was going to CG it properly, but I ran out of time. Detailed lines ftw?

I know I haven't a snowballs chance in hell of even placing, but I wanted to try and "bring my vision to life" anyhow. I put lots of symbolism, which hopefully you can see. Includes Libra, eye of Justice, 7 deadly sins...you name it.

Definitely the most detailed piece of linework I've done. Ouch my hand.

Special thanks to: My real life friends Alisa and Kari, who posed for me while I took pictures so I could get some semblance of anatomy correct.

Also, I googled a lot for references and I will draw up my entire list of refs tomorrow. I gotta get some sleep tonight so I can take my Finals tomorrow haha.
