Summer/Winter lines: [link] Spring/Fall lines: [link] No references used. ~~~~~~~~~~ Hey all, this was the secret picture shown in these teasers: [link] I'm a big fan of =Nefis' work, and I was so happy that she posted both linearts in her Seasons collection. I combined the two of them and spent a long time coloring it. Maybe one day I can actually collab with Nefis.  This was a completely new coloring style, I used Polygonal Lasso tool a lot etc. I figure I'd try my hand at just coloring, since people usually like my colors.  ~~~~~~~ Time: About 16 hours Tools: - Pasted the linearts together on one document on GIMP 2.0 - Filled in rough color plan on GIMP - Painted majority in Photoshop Elements 4.0 - Details fixed on Photoshop CS3 Extended, Painter X and Paint tool SAI (trial) ~~~~~~~~ I really hope you like this, I worked very hard on it! i love how you combined the two linearts into one picture, and how it looks as if they were never separate linearts to begin with  the light and shading are very well done~ my only real colour critique is for the spring girl: i love her gold hair, and how it's green on one side. but, the transition from gold to green seems really sudden. maybe it's just me, but i would have made a few strands of hair on her bangs and maybe on her other pigtail a light green, to make it look a little more natural but for all i know, that was purposeful and it's like that just because of lighting  i'm going to walk away now... but great picture!! .... *runs* -- "I don't have any ham or jam, so don't slam my yam!"
