~~~~~~~~~ Hi, long time no post. I never feel as if anything I do is worth scanning, fixing and posting.  But from now on I'll post WIPs too, I'll post one tomorrow. As the title says, this was just a little watercolor doodle. Last time I used watercolors was in 5th grade, so I just fooled around with my little brother's set last night. Scanner absolutely ate away the colors, they lost their vibrancy. Tried fixing it up in Photoshop. To be scrapped. Time: About 20 minutes. Tools: -Mechanical pencil 0.7 -24 Crayola Watercolor set -Brushes that came with the set -Normal printing paper (bad choice, I just didn't want to waste my actual watercolor paper) -White gel pen (for eyes and lips) -Photoshop for cleanup and dodge arc across hair Any watercolor suggestions would be greatly appreciated (techniques, personal methods etc.) |

I like how the different colors seem to blend together...
When I tried to do water colors, it didn't turn out so well...
As for techniques or tricks, cant help you there...

What I love most is the eyes. Excellent detail and I do like the shape. Good job.
I like the style and colour of her hair. The colour looks fresh and unique. Nice touch of the dodge across the hair.
